Never-Ending Card Fold using Petal Palette and Video!

I have been extremely busy doing Facebook Live Videos and I'm trying to load them all here on my blog. I've had a video posted every day so far this week so look for more! Today I am showing you how to create a Never-Ending Card Fold. The photo above shows you all the steps of how the card opens four times to reveal four views. And all on one card!

Now I will show you the individual photos of each portion of the card. The card starts out with the front panels like this:

Start to open the card with the two panels from the center horizontally like this:

To reveal more panels on the inside:

These panels lift vertically this time to reveal a third view:

Isn't the card pretty so far? We've got one more view as you open the center panels from this one:

And the final view:

Once you pull the flaps open on this final view, you then go back to the front of the card:

The next few photos show you the card I created during my Facebook LIVE:

3D Thursday and FREE Project Sheet!

Can you believe it's Thursday already? Are you ready for a new 3D Thursday project? This week, my teammate Twila Davis created an Origami Treat Holder. See how cute the treat holder is?

Just a few folds of designer paper and a few layers for the sentiment and you are ready to add a cello bag full of treats for a recipient.  Twila added a cookie as her treat inside the cello bag. I love that she used some new ribbon that you'll be able to purchase on June 1st in our new Annual Catalog along with the designer paper!

And as always, here's the FREE weekly Project Sheet:

Alcohol Ink LIfting Technique & Video!

I have the neatest technique to show you for today's project. I incorporated Whisper White Cardstock, Glossy Cardstock, rubbing alcohol and my Stampin' Blends to create the beautiful background you see on both cards. The technique is called Alcohol Ink Lifting and the first card shows it to you on the Whisper White Cardstock:

The 2nd card is the exact same card but with the technique performed on Glossy Paper. Can you see the difference? The rubbing alcohol spreads more on the Glossy Paper:

Here are some close-up photos:

Lunch Paper Bag Gift Bag & Video!

Hi Everyone! Do you like my gift bags? I showed everyone how to make them out of brown lunch paper bags, cardstock and the Color Theory designer paper on one of my latest Facebook LIVE videos. They come together quite easily and I have my video listed at the bottom of this post. First, here are a few more photos for you to view:

Side view and yes, this does fold flat for storing:

I used the Pretty Label Punch to create the hole for the handle:

And colored the cup using the Coloring With The Lines Technique:

Below is my video and if you can not click on the video due to your electronic device, click on the link below the video:

Merry Monday Challenge #291!

Welcome to a new challenge week at Merry Monday Challenge! This week our hostess is Kelly and we all added Candy Canes, Cookies or Sweets on our projects. My cards uses Candy Canes:

I used two retired stamp sets for my card. The Scentsational Season and the Musical Season. I also grabbed some retired designer vellum paper for my background. All of the squares were cut with punches and layered:

I decided to add three candy canes in the center and some color-coordinated enamel shapes in the background once my card was all assembled. Doesn't the Mini Tinsel Trim bow complete my card nicely?

Thanks so much for visiting me today and please visit Merry Monday Challenge to view all of the projects by my teammates!

The Impossible Card Fold & Video!

Good Morning and welcome to the Impossible Card Fold. This card fold has been the rage these past few weeks. I've seen so many in blogland and Facebook that I had to give it a try. Here are a few photo's that show you different angles:

I used the new Rooted In Nature stamp set that will be available on June 1st. The photo below shows you how the card folds flat. You see two samples because I created this card on a Facebook Live Video.

And this is the back side:

Then you twist one side to flip the card to look like this:

Close-up photos of the sentiment on the front:

Once you flip the card open, a little easel pops up like this:

Want to learn how to make one of these cards? Here's my Facebook Live Video that you can watch. If your electronic device does not allow you to click on the video, I have also added a clickable link below the video for you:
